Born in San José with Swiss, French, and German roots, Margrit began guiding in 1998 after returning from a year in Germany. Her language skills opened doors, but her love for nature turned guiding into a lifelong path.
She has led trips throughout Central America, the Galápagos, Alaska, and even Russia with Lindblad Expeditions. Passionate about marine life and tropical ecology, Margrit brings energy, knowledge, and a spirit of adventure to every experience—whether on land or at sea.
