With 20+ years of guiding experience, Max combines deep field knowledge with a lifelong passion for birds. Trained in natural resource management, he’s known for identifying birds by sound alone.
Max has led birding trips across Costa Rica, Central America, and Brazil, and has advised international organizations on sustainable tourism. He’s also a Red Cross volunteer and an active voice in Costa Rica’s birding community.
